SUMMER SLED DOG Kennel Tours will be closed this season for renovations. We look forward to offering this unique experience once again next summer and fall.

The majority of the presentation is held outdoors but under cover. You may need a jacket when you leave the barn to view the team in action.

                           Fall Training...time for a water break!

Jan 29-31 2010....Thank you to Global BC, Vancouver Province, Georgia Straight, Miss 604.com, and BC Tourism's Chris Wheeler for taking the time to come out and spend an afternoon with us out on the trails. We truly enjoyed your company and had a great time sharing our passion of dog sledding with all of you.                                     


LOCATION:   14295 Chief Lake Road, Prince George BC Canada 
DIRECTIONS:    Travel North through Prince George on Hwy 97.
   Go to outskirts, approx 16 km from Nechako Bridge. Watch for
   the HUSKY gas station on your left.
   TURN LEFT just before the Husky onto Chief Lake Rd.
   Travel 11 km Keep an eye out for the DRIVE INN
   THEATRE sign and start to slow down as we are the next place
    on the left. You will see our Dog Power Adventures sign.
PARKING:   If you are driving a big rig, please follow appropriate signs as you
   will be directed to a separate parking area, or you may park
   in the round about in front of house if you would rather stay on
   a paved surface, and walk to the barn.
   All vehicles will be heading out past the house...please to not stop
   on the main driveway and block traffic. Big Rigs may park in round
   about in front of house.
DOG POLICY   We do allow dogs for certain events. Please inquire ahead of time   
   if you are unsure. Clinics and Camps are specifically designed for  
  guests and their dogs. Fun Days are for sled dogs only. 
  Summer / Fall Presentations,  there are designated "doggy areas"
  The only exception is for Service Dogs.
NO  There is absolutely no smoking in or near the barns.
SMOKING   Inquire upon entry where our designated smoking area is.
   For the safety of our dogs we thank you for your cooperation.
